Adopt's Community Events

Adopt's Community Events provide casual opportunities for families, friends, birth parents, and other non-AI families to meet one another while in the adoption process and in the years that follow.  We invite you to join one or all of our upcoming community events.

These events are typically organized by a member of the Adopt community.  Some are child focused like the zoo or train rides while others are geared towards adults like waiting family Happy Hour or our annual Date Night.  We are diversifying location and cost of the activities as well to make sure everyone can participate.  Some events have larger capacity, Food Truck Picnic, while others will be more intimate such as an evening in someone’s home sharing a glass of wine while working on your child’s lifebook.  We are hoping there will be something that appeals to everyone.

ACE: Cline Cellars Picnic in Sonoma

Come picnic with us in beautiful wine country.  Cline cellars is a family friendly property with picnic tables, large grassy areas and farm animals.   We will meet at the large open field to the right.  Look for a pop up tent and blue balloons.  Bring your own picnic lunch.  We can chit chat, play games, taste some wine and get the kids going in a game of tag.  Waiting families encouraged to join as well.
